As a  Construction Working Foreman/Project Manager, you'll lead a single project from dust control to final inspection. You balance hands-on craftsmanship with site leadership, ensuring every detail meets Gehman's standards of excellence and care.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee remodeling projects from planning to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Manage job sites for safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
  • Perform and supervise hands-on carpentry, mechanical, tile, and related trades at a high skill level.
  • Lead crews, coordinate material orders/deliveries, and direct trade partners.
  • Maintain accurate records: daily logs, photos, timecards, purchase orders, and material usage.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, present additional work orders, and ensure expectations are met.
  • Conduct quality checks, coordinate inspections, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Drive client satisfaction with professionalism and craftsmanship.
  • Stay current on industry best practices and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of remodeling construction experience (or equivalent).
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Master-level proficiency in multiple trades (carpentry, roofing, siding, windows, doors, electric, plumbing, drywall, cabinetry, tile, flooring, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of all trades involved in remodeling.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and technical documents.
  • Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and computers.
  • Strong communication and client service skills.
  • Physically able to lift up to 80 lbs., climb, and work at heights.
  • Basic math skills for measurements, budgeting, and material tracking.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time position, 4x10-hour days (MonThu), with occasional Fridays.
  • Competitive hourly rate at $30 to $34 per hour, based on experience.
